Well, we don’t really know where to begin with this email. It seems like it has been so long.
So much has happened and it all feels absolutely amazing. When we started on this crazy journey, all we ever wanted to do was try to make a difference. We hope that we have. You guys, our fans, friends and families, have made this such an amazing and exciting time in our lives that we are not sure we will ever experience in the same way again.

We have so many things to let you know about.

The first is this. We are going on a Headlining tour. We are taking our amazing friends in Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the full effect with us. We figure that since you guys and gals were with us the entire ride, you should be able to get your hands on tickets before anyone else. We also fought the good fight to get a reduced ticket charge on these tickets for you.

This exclusive presale for these shows begins August 1st at 10 AM local time and ends August 3rd at 5 PM local time. There is a 4 ticket limit per customer per show.

There are only a limited number of these tickets for this presale, so when the presale sells out, check with the venue or promoter for further info on the public on sale and how to get tickets.

Another thing we want to say to you in this email is about MTV and some of the things that have been happening. You may or may not know that we have been nominated for 4 MTV Video Music Awards. This is not only an amazing feeling, but completely from left field. We could have never in 100 million years expected to even be played on Video Music Channels, much less be nominated for awards for the videos we make. It is very surreal. Nor could we have ever predicted that one of our Music Videos would be #1 on MTV’s TRL. We know that we owe all of this to you our fans, so thank thank thank you with everything that we are.

Receiving these nominations also means that we will be attending the awards show in Miami on August 28. This makes things very complicated. You see, we are scheduled to perform at Leeds Festival in England on August 27. This is impossible to do both, so we have been racking our brains trying to come up with a solution to make both this band and our fans be able to enjoy that weekend. In the past we have seen bands cancel shows we wanted to be at, and that made us be able to know we cannot cancel the show in Leeds.
Alas, we have come up with the solution. We are going to play Reading and Leeds on the same day. We will be in Leeds playing on the Main Stage at 12:00 and then we will travel to Reading to play our show that night. We hope this is the best way and we also hope that all of you who had planned on seeing the band play will still get to.

While we are at it, how about the fact that we received a nomination for the MTV2 Award.
